JOE ROBINSON | Managing Partner & Founder

Mr. Joe Robinson is the Managing Partner & Founder of Halo Venture Partners, LLC, a private venture capital company investing primarily in digital media, advertising and media-related technology companies.  Mr. Robinson also serves as Chairman & Founder to its sister company, Signalray Media, LLC, a marketing and consulting firm specializing in digital media sales, media-related executive recruiting and strategic consulting for digital media and e-commerce companies. Further highlighting his media and venture experience Mr. Robinson serves as the EVP of Strategic Development for Clear Channel Media + Entertainment sourcing equity investment and M&A opportunities.

Mr. Robinson’s successes include founding investments in both Scout Media, a sports social network which was sold to Fox in 2005 for $56 million and UGO Networks, a male targeted advertising network which was sold to Hearst in 2007 for $80 million. In 1994, he co-founded the InterWorld Corporation, an e-commerce application developer and solutions provider that went public in 1998 and ultimately, reached a market cap of $2 billion.

Through Halo, Mr. Robinson is also an investor in Spongecell.com, iWin.com and aSmallWorld.com and serves on the Board of Directors of each company.  In 2012, Spongecell.com, was ranked as the 27th fastest growing company in the United States by Inc.com and one of the top private companies in digital media by AlwaysOn Global 250.  He has also held consultancies with both Fox and Tribeca Enterprises.

SACHA TAYLOR

Ms. Sacha Taylor brings to Halo Venture Partners a vast amount of media, political, executive and sales experience from her many successes in politics, business, and philanthropy.

She also serves as Managing Partner of Signalray Media, LLC, Halo’s sister company, where she manages the daily operations of the Company.  Her responsibilities include all senior level executive management and advisory services. She is instrumental in developing successful hiring and sales team development strategies on behalf of the company’s clients and partners.

Ms. Taylor Prior to joining Signalray, Ms. Taylor served as a key advisor for the 1998 & 2002 Georgia’s Lieutenant Governor’s races, as well as, the 2006 Georgia Gubernatorial Race.  She oversaw various research, polling, fundraising, press and media activities. In addition, she worked closely with media planning and buying teams. In 2003, she managed the team that received “Pollie” Award for “Best Television Spot” by the American Assoc. of Political Consultants.

Ms. Taylor has served as an advisory to a broad range of well-known nonprofits and public interest groups, including Elton John AIDS Foundation, Jeffrey Fashion Cares, Captain Planet Foundation and Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. Currently, she serves on the Board of Directors for both the national non-profit, Girl Talk, Inc. and Mythic Bridge. Formerly, she served on the U.S. Fund for UNICEF Southeast Regional Chapter Board of Directors. Her political and philanthropic fundraising efforts have resulted in $30+ million in additional funding, as well as, notable national and local recognition for each of the organizations.

Ms. Taylor is also the Founder of Nannies and more… (“N+m”), an international childcare recruitment and placement service. Under Ms. Taylor’s leadership and service to numerous boards and organizations, N+m has been instrumental in changing the childcare placement industry by serving as the leader for establishing minimum requirements for placement and providing enhanced background research to its clients.  N+m has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and New York Times, among other major media outlets.  Ms. Taylor is the largest shareholder of N+m and continues to serve its Executive Chairman.

Ms. Taylor possesses a MBA and Journalism degree from the University of Georgia. Additionally, she has studied at Harris Manchester College and Balliol College at Oxford University in Oxford, England.
